Caroline Nyamwaya Mwazi
Director & Chief Change Catalyst
Caroline started her career in retail and corporate banking until 2007 when she founded Huru Consult to follow her passion for excellent people and organizational development. Specializing in strategy, organizational development, entrepreneurship, finance, leadership, learning and personal development. Caroline holds an
MBA degree from from the University of the Free State (South Africa). She serves on the boards of The Association of Startup & SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK), and the Kenya Association of Women Business Owners (KAWBO) and has facilitated governance and strategy development and implementation programmes and assessments for local and international organizations. Since 2008 she has led and strongly collaborated in entrepreneurship support projects for organizations such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Co-operative Bank of Kenya, GIZ, AMSCO and Vital Voices Global Partnership.
She is an IFC certified Master Trainer and Learning & Performance Institute (UK) Trainer Assessor, Certified Online Learning Facilitator and Designer of Online Learning. She was the 2024 and 2025 Conference Chair for the L&D Africa Conference, and has designed and run in-person and virtual training programmes within and outside Africa. Besides being the creator of the Go for Gold!, Build your Business! And Unlock Strategy! Programmes, she is also Master Coach for the Dynamic Coaching Skills and Effective Business Coaching Programmes. In addition to this, Caroline contributes regularly to Marketing Africa Magazine, writing a column dubbed ‘Leading You.’
Paul Kitemu
Associate Consultant
Paul is a passionate customer experience expert and author of the workbook, Driving the Customer Service Agenda: A Step by Step Guide. He is also a certified IFC-LPI Trainer and is highly experienced at virtual and in-person facilitation. Holder of a Masters degree in Human Resources Management and Strategic Management, he is an associate consultant with the Institute of Customer Experience and has extensively trained in customer service across Africa, focusing on strategic approaches to customer experience, customer relationship management, and leadership among other areas. He is also a thorough and detail-oriented personal and business coach.
Simon Kamuri
Associate Consultant
Simon is a consultant in Strategy, Leadership, Organizational development and Entrepreneurship and has training and facilitation experience of over 20 years. A certified operations excellence expert and coach, Simon holds a PhD degree in entrepreneurship from Kenyatta University and was previously a facilitator at Outward Bound Kenya.
He also enjoys coaching and mentoring in personal and leadership development and brings his rich experience and passion for organizational excellence and continuous improvement to every client engagement.
Faith Karimi Gatimi
Associate Consultant
Faith has expertise in organizational strengthening, personal development, sales strengthening and designing communication strategies. She has over fifteen years experience training SMEs and corporate organizations in sales, customer experience, leadership and learning development. As an experienced, IFC-trained, Learning and Development professional, whose experience includes 2 years as Learning & Development Lead a M-GAS, Faith is adept at carrying out capacity gap assessments, developing interventions, and carrying out staff training.
She also writes regularly in the Nation Newspaper.
Jane Akoth
Associate Consultant
Jane is an HR, Leadership and Organizational Development specialist who gained her training and facilitation skills through the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and College of HR Management Trainer of Trainers programmes. She has worked as HR Lead in a leading Nairobi restaurant chain. Holder of a B.A. in HR Management, she is passionate about training and developing people and organizations and brings to every assignment deep analytical thinking and developing people and organizations and brings to every assignment deep analytical thinking and a desire for tangible, high-impact results.
